Eugene Ruffolo is a New York-based singer-songwriter who has been making a name for himself in both the US and Europe for years. With his intimate performances and special voice, he has built a loyal fan base in the Benelux, but for us he was still new.

Eugene’s music transcends genres and touches the heart of his listeners. His unique vocal style combines sensitivity and power, making every performance an unforgettable experience. His debut album A Fool For Every Season was praised by Audio Magazine as a “folk rock masterpiece” and the Dutch Heaven magazine called it a “first-rate debut”. Rolling Stone Europe described Eugene and his music as “masculine and sensitive at the same time… a songwriter of remarkable inspiration”.

This video was recorded last year at The Fellowship of Acoustics and we also have such a beautiful Ear Trumpet Labs microphone and a beautiful PA set for singer-songwriters. In short, it will be a beautiful evening in terms of sound.

Since his debut, he has received worldwide praise for his nine albums, including his latest work Ten Good Sermons. This album, distributed by the Dutch Coast to Coast Records, explores current themes such as forgiveness, friendship and the search for existential truth. Real Roots Cafe calls this album “a jewel and a warm shower with a voice that is sultry and sensitive as ever”, Heaven Magazine praises the beauty of the personal listening songs and Beats praises the album as a spiritual and musical masterpiece.

In addition to his solo career, Eugene is a sought-after session musician and has shared the stage with such greats as Garth Brooks, Kenny Loggins, Tony Bennett and Run DMC. As a songwriter, he has won awards at prestigious songwriting competitions including Telluride Bluegrass and Merlefest, and his work has been featured on Hollywood soundtracks and presidential campaign ads for Obama.
