Magnificent songs with formidable musical accompaniment. Oklahoma-born and raised Carter Sampson already managed to make quite a name for herself in the Americana scene with her previous albums. Her latest album also topped the Americana Charts and she was also a welcome guest on Dutch stages.
Furthermore, this tough lady is also the founder and director of the Rock & Roll camp for Girls and is also known during her tours for surrounding herself with other female musicians, during the upcoming tour she will also appear with a female side-women. On her new album Gold she raises the bar even higher with truly magnificent songs with formidable musical accompaniment. A real recommendation for fans of Patty Griffin, Lucinda Williams, Brandi Carlisle and The Highwomen.
