Sean Taylor is a British singer-songwriter. Born in 1983, he still belongs to the relatively young generation of singer-songwriters. Since 2006 he has released as many as 9 albums. In 2019, an album was released titled ‘The Path Into Blue’. This album blends blues, folk and country. It is a thematic album with 12 contemporary songs about issues such as Brexit, the refugee crisis, homelessness, and alcohol and drug abuse.

In 2022, Sean’s twelfth album, “The Beat Goes On”, was released. It is a poetic and highly musical album, with songs drawing on influences from blues, soul, jazz, folk and country. Sean’s voice ranges from bluesy and jazzy to folky. He is a gifted guitarist, and the fragile yet virtuosic sounds he draws from his guitar suit his voice beautifully. His live performances are marked by passion and talent. He is reminiscent of singer-songwriters such as John Martyn and Richard Thompson, and his voice sometimes moves in the direction of Tom Waits’s.
Sean has also appeared on the Blue Room Sessions a number of times, where I have already recorded this song of his before.
