Well, another night to remember. We were fortunate enough to host Jaimee Harris and Mary Gauthier in our living room. In the afternoon we had really nice and relaxed conversations about life and music. Learned that Mary played a big role in introducing Dayna Kurtz into the Netherlands, and that Sandra of LDM Bookings played a major role in getting Mary playing here and getting her a recoed deal at Munich Records. Always nice to hear and a double thank you to Sandra.
Mary and Jaimee were on tour since Mary’s Drag Queens in Limousines album turned 25 years old. The afternoon started with a solo performance by Jaimee. She’s a great songwriter and performer and played here beautiful song Boomerang Town:
Yes, I need to do something with the camera, but focus on the audio please 😉 After 5 songs Mary joined on stage and she sang a collection of her many great songs. We were happy she played Last of the Hobo Kings and Mercy Now. It was an honor to receive both Jaimee and Mary in our living room.
